Global gambling giant Flutter Entertainment announced its Q2 2025 results, with revenue up 16% year-over-year to $4.19 billion, but net profit plummeted by 88% to just $37 million, and earnings per share dropped to $0.59. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 25% to $919 million, with a profit margin of 21.9%.

Revenue growth was primarily driven by its subsidiary FanDuel, with total revenue for the quarter at $1.8 billion, of which sports betting grew by 11% to $1.2 billion, and iGaming surged by 42% to $507 million. In the US market, sports betting GGR share reached 41%, and iGaming set a record at 27%.

International business performance varied: revenue in the UK and Ireland slightly increased by 1% to $936 million (down 5% at constant exchange rates), revenue in Southern Europe and Africa jumped by 68% to $657 million, Brazil grew by 144% to $44 million, Asia-Pacific increased by 4% to $402 million, and Central and Eastern Europe grew by 8% to $138 million.

CEO Peter Jackson stated that the company completed several strategic initiatives in the second quarter, including taking full control of FanDuel, becoming the largest operator in Italy, and establishing a scale advantage in Brazil, while also advancing customer migration projects. He emphasized the potential in the event contract sector, believing that Betfair Exchange's twenty years of experience will aid in strategic deployment.

Flutter expects full-year revenue to be between $16.63 billion and $17.52 billion, an upward adjustment of about $1 billion; adjusted EBITDA guidance is between $2.96 billion and $3.4 billion. Revenue expectations for the US business are between $7.19 billion and $7.69 billion, with EBITDA expected to be between $1.1 billion and $1.34 billion. Recently, Flutter acquired an additional 5% stake in FanDuel from Boyd Gaming, achieving 100% ownership.

In the gambling industry, Flutter's online revenue is second only to MGM, far surpassing most competitors, and firmly holds a core position in the global online gambling market.
