The Hong Kong Jockey Club announced the appointment of Sarena Lin as the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and a member of the management committee, reporting directly to CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges.
This is a newly established position at the Jockey Club. Sarena Lin will lead the Transformation Office, responsible for developing the transformation roadmap, coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, driving the Jockey Club towards a customer-centric, data-driven, and agile operational direction, and ensuring sustainable change is implemented.
Sarena Lin has extensive international corporate management and transformation experience, having served as the Chief Transformation and Talent Officer at Bayer, where she led the restructuring of global operational models and cultural transformation. Prior to that, she was the President and Executive Vice President of Strategy and Marketing at American Elanco, and held senior positions at Cargill and McKinsey.
She holds an MBA and a Master's degree in International Relations from Yale University, as well as a degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.
Founded in 1884, the Hong Kong Jockey Club is one of Hong Kong's largest taxpayers and major employers. Recently, the Club also established a special support team to assist with the preparations for the 2025 National Games.
