EvenBet Gaming recently announced a partnership with the well-known South African betting brand Hollywoodbets to launch an online poker platform. This move marks the arrival of one of the first fully functional online poker services in Africa.
The platform will initially focus on Texas Hold'em as its core product, with plans to gradually introduce more poker games in the future. Hollywoodbets, a veteran company in the South African market for decades, has long provided sports betting and gaming services from multiple international suppliers. This collaboration further enriches its digital product matrix.
For EvenBet, this marks the first landing of its poker platform in South Africa. The company believes that the African market has long-term development potential, with increasing mobile device penetration, continuous improvement in internet infrastructure, and growing interest in skill-based games, all contributing to a promising outlook for the poker business.

It is worth mentioning that the online poker market in Africa is still in its infancy, with a limited number of mature platforms. EvenBet has been continuously expanding its global market presence, and in 2024, it obtained certification from the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA), entered the Dutch poker market, and partnered with Colombian operator FullReto to integrate its poker solutions, expanding its business coverage in Latin America.
