The Mandi District Court recently issued the final verdicts for six cases involving well-known casino owner Amnuay Kiattidonmuang (also known as "Pa Nui"), with a total sentence of 14 years and 129 months. The cases have reached the final judgment stage, and the defendant is not eligible for bail.

On September 1, the investigative department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Police, in collaboration with the 191 Special Operations Group, successfully arrested 69-year-old "Pa Nui" at the Thong Song Hong Police Station detention center. He was previously issued eight arrest warrants by the Mandi District Court and the Criminal Court for alleged violations of the Gambling Act and the Immigration Act. After his arrest, he was taken to the Mandi District Court, with charges including organizing gambling and evading court.

In case A107/2568, the defendant pleaded guilty and the court sentenced him to 8 years and 96 months in prison, but the term of imprisonment shall not exceed 10 years. The defendant may appeal within the prescribed period to seek a reduction of the sentence.

The remaining four cases all involved violations of the Gambling Act, and the lower courts sentenced the defendant to a total of 6 years and 24 months in prison, with appeals still under review. The defendant has pleaded guilty and will apply to the lower courts for a copy of the judgment to withdraw the appeal and seek a reduction in sentence.

In addition, in case A1631/2022, the court issued a sentence of 9 months in prison, pending the completion of the appeal process.

Combining the results of the six cases, the court ultimately ruled that "Pa Nui" was sentenced to a total of 14 years and 129 months in prison for violations of the Gambling Act and the Immigration Act. Subsequently, he was taken to the Bangkok Detention Prison to serve his sentence, as the cases are in the final judgment stage and there is no need to apply for bail.
