Recent dynamics in the gambling industry are frequent, with Zitro Digital appointing a new CEO, leadership changes at Wynn Resorts CFO, and a director departing from Scout, while Betway's license in Portugal has been revoked, and Bragg has extended its collaboration with Entain, reflecting new industry trends. Relevant compliance information can be referenced on the PASA official website.

Intensive executive changes reshuffle industry talent

The gambling circle has recently seen a wave of executive adjustments, with key changes being particularly noteworthy:

Zitro Digital announces the appointment of Michael Bauer as the new CEO, who has over ten years of experience in online gaming executive roles, specializing in product development and international expansion, and will lead the company's strategic advancement in the iGaming field;

Wynn Resorts confirms CFO change, Julie Cameron-Doe will retire in mid-2026 and will then serve as a consultant and non-executive director of Wynn Macau, with her position to be taken over by the current CFO and Chief Administrative Officer of Wynn Macau, Craig Jeffrey Fullalove, who has been deeply involved in Macau operations since 2020 with extensive experience;

Jonathan Pettemerides, a director at Scout Gaming Group, has resigned, having joined the board in 2021. After his departure, the board will still maintain a size of 3 people, complying with the regulatory requirement of 3-8 people.

Among these changes, the financial transition at Wynn is particularly noteworthy, as Cameron-Doe has successfully driven multiple capital market financings during her tenure, laying a foundation for the company's balanced sheet.

License dynamics update: Betway exits the Portuguese market

The Portuguese Tourism Gambling Commission, at the request of operator GM Gaming, has revoked its relevant license. GM Gaming has been operating the Betway.pt site since January 2020, covering online casino games and sports betting services. Following the revocation of the license, the entity will no longer have the qualifications to operate online gambling in Portugal, and the regulatory body did not disclose the specific reasons for the application for revocation.

This change also reminds the industry that license compliance is the core of operations, and any regional market qualification adjustment can affect business layout.

Extended cooperation boosts Bragg and Entain's extended PAM agreement

Bragg Gaming Group and Entain have reached an extension of their collaboration, with their Player Account Management (PAM) agreement extended for at least another five months, until the end of May 2026, with further renewal possibilities. According to the agreement, Entain's Dutch market brand BetCity.nl will continue to use Bragg's exclusive PAM platform, also covering online casino content and sports betting delivery services.

Bragg CEO Matevž Mazij stated that BetCity.nl has grown into a leading operator in the Dutch market, and this renewal is a recognition of the effectiveness of the cooperation between the two parties, as well as a reflection of the core competitiveness of the PAM platform.
