ASEAN Gaming Summit 2024 attracts unprecedented number of participants
MANILA – The 2024 ASEAN Gaming Summit, hosted by Asia Gaming Brief, concluded in Manila, Philippines. The three-day event attracted nearly 1,600 attendees, setting a new record.
This year's exhibition attracted diverse visitors from many regions including Macau, Armenia, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, Germany, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Singapore.
The exhibition section attracts dozens of exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest technologies and advancements in the gaming industry. Well-known exhibitors such as Pronet Gaming, BetConstruct, DST Gaming, and Fast Track provided strong sponsorship for this summit. The outstanding performance of Philippine companies demonstrates the significant growth of the country’s gaming industry.
In addition, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) once again strongly supported this year’s event, with the group’s Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco delivering the opening remarks at the ASEAN Gaming Summit.
A highlight was the keynote speech delivered by Thomas Arasi, President and Chief Operating Officer of Bloomberry Resorts Corp., who shared Solaire’s success story in the Philippines.
Following a series of insights from gaming experts, the much-anticipated Asia Gaming Awards returned to celebrate excellence in gaming, highlighting the contributions of operators, suppliers, affiliates, land and online operators alike. The ceremony presented top honours for Best Operator and Best Integrated Resort, and recognised the achievements of three outstanding industry leaders.
Luis Pereira, Managing Director of Asia Gaming Brief, highlighted the achievements of the sixth edition of the show, saying: “This year’s event once again brings together great minds and talents that continue to shape and diversify the industry.
