RGB says it is not "in any way" affected by Philippines POGO ban

Malaysian gaming products distributor RGB International Bhd claims Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s ban on offshore gaming operations will have "no impact" on the company.

In a statement issued recently, the company assured its stakeholders of its operations in the Philippines and said it did not sell any slot machines to POGO.

According to the company, “RGB sells slot machines in the Philippines to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), licensed integrated resorts, casinos and slot club operators.”

“The future of RGB in the Philippines remains very bright.”

The Philippines' leading slot machine manufacturers, including Aristocrat and Light & Wonder, recently announced a massive $81 million deal to supply nearly 2,000 new slot machines to PAGCOR.

to support the regulator in replacing approximately 3,000 electronic gaming machines (EGMs) at its independently operated casinos ahead of their privatization.

RGB announced pre-tax profit of 25.3 million Malaysian ringgit ($5.4 million) for the three months ended March 31, 2024.
