Online gaming and sports betting group Meridianbet will become the new title sponsor of the FA Cup, known as the Malta FA Cup, which aims to support local clubs and the Maltese football community.
The agreement is a three-year commitment.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Stefan Pavlovic, Director of Meridian Gaming (Meridianbet Malta) said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Malta Football Association as the title sponsor of the Malta FA Cup. With 17 years of business in Malta, we are always committed to giving back to the community .This sponsorship not only supports the development of football at all levels but also strengthens our ongoing initiatives.
Meridianbet was founded in 2001 and is now part of the Golden Matrix Group.
Meridianbet is also actively involved in supporting the Maltese community beyond the football pitch. For example, the operator recently launched the Meridianbet Gambling Awareness program in partnership with the Responsible Gambling Foundation. In addition, it supports the Malta Rangers, helping with the conservation and sustainability of local ecosystems.
