Global entertainment brand SkillOnNet has obtained a license to operate in Peru.

The license, issued by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), means that Peruvian players will be able to experience the company's rich portfolio of casino games.

They will also be able to enjoy playing games on SkillOnNet's localized Spanish software, which features the flagship brand PlayUZU.pe.

Peru has long legalized online gambling, but until recently, the country lacked a legal licensing framework. In August 2022, the Peruvian legislature passed a law establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework for gambling activities.

The law took effect in February 2024, initiating a 30-day window for license applications.

The issuance of this license highlights SkillOnNet's commitment to working in regulated markets and marks a new milestone in its expansion into the Latin American region.

This move has enabled its recent successful entry into new regulated markets such as Mexico and Buenos Aires.

SkillOnNet operates dozens of market-leading gaming brands in multiple regulated jurisdictions including Portugal, Germany, the UK, North America, and Latin America.
