The 2024 Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) opens this week, serving as a key event for gaming professionals in Australia and New Zealand. This premier expo will take place at the Sydney International Convention Centre from August 13 to 15, covering 19,000 square meters where exhibitors will showcase the latest in gaming technology, and hotel and venue management solutions.

Offering a rich array of seminars for industry leaders:

AGE 2024 will host a series of informative seminars aimed at addressing current key issues affecting the gaming industry. Topics include cashless gaming systems, anti-money laundering protocols, gambling harm mitigation strategies, and the role of central monitoring systems. These seminars are designed to provide practical insights to cope with global market challenges, foster innovation, and enhance industry agility.

According to Inside Asian Gaming, the seminars will kick off on August 13 with an international panel discussion providing insights into the global gaming and hotel markets, followed by the latest updates on anti-money laundering regulatory measures and technologies addressing these challenges.

On August 14, the focus will shift to the Australian gaming industry, discussing Australia's economic status, strategies to address cost of living pressures, and innovative technologies aimed at reducing gambling harm and combating inflation.

A major highlight on August 15 will be a seminar celebrating women's leadership within the industry. This includes a session on notable women in the gaming and hospitality sectors, a speech on women driving industry transformation, and a panel discussion on venues designed to support and educate communities to break the cycle of violence.

Displaying new products and solutions:

Global gaming giant Light & Wonder, Inc. will showcase a diverse new product portfolio at AGE 2024, ranging from exciting new game content and hardware to innovative system solutions. Highlights include the latest games in the Dragon Train series, new Jewel of the Dragon, and enhanced features like Hold & Spin. The expo will also debut Kascada Slant, a new type of gaming machine aimed at enhancing casino sightlines.

BMM Testlabs, a leader in gaming testing and product certification, will also participate in AGE, demonstrating its commitment to the Asia-Pacific region. With 43 years of history in Australia and numerous offices and labs in Asia, BMM will highlight its capabilities in testing and certifying products to meet any technical standards required by global gaming regulators.

AGE 2024 provides a valuable platform for industry stakeholders to explore new products, engage in thought-provoking seminars, seek business partnerships, and drive sales. Hosted by the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA), participants will gain a comprehensive experience, not only learning about innovations in the gaming and hospitality industries but also sparking innovation.
