In July, the total revenue from regulated gambling and fantasy contests in Pennsylvania reached $500.8 million. This represents a growth of 7.22% compared to July 2023, and a 6% increase from June. The tax revenue generated from various forms of gambling and fantasy contests was $207.7 million.
Retail slot machine revenue decreased by 4.8% year-over-year to $204.3 million. Retail table games revenue also fell by 4.8% to $79.4 million.
According to the report from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, the online gambling sector saw a revenue increase of 31.2%, reaching $174.3 million. Online slot revenue was $125.4 million, while internet table games brought in $46.6 million, and online poker revenue was $2.3 million. Sports betting revenue was $414.6 million, up 22.5% from July 2023. Year-over-year revenue increased by 20%, reaching $38.5 million. Online gambling revenue was $35.3 million, and retail gambling revenue was $3.2 million.
