BetMGM has become the first sports betting app to allow Nevada bettors to transfer funds to the national mobile market. BetMGM's single account allows users to register in person once at MGM Resorts in Nevada, and then use the app across all US BetMGM mobile markets.
New customers can register by downloading the mobile app and visiting one of BetMGM's nine retail sports betting outlets, including Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, MGM Grand, Park MGM, Mandalay Bay, and New York-New York. BetMGM currently operates in 29 markets across North America, offering both mobile and retail services.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said, "We are proud to be the first in Nevada to launch a single account and wallet, simplifying and enhancing the betting experience. Our players can now immerse themselves in the excitement of MGM Resorts destinations in Las Vegas or throughout the state, while seamlessly continuing to bet in other BetMGM markets."
BetMGM's financial results for the first half and second quarter show a 6% year-over-year revenue increase in the first half of 2024, reaching $1 billion. The EBITDA for the first half was a negative $123 million. In the second quarter, net revenue grew by 9%. Online sports betting net gaming revenue (NGR) increased by 16% year-over-year.
