Netherlands
In the Netherlands, Intralot Benelux has extended its contract with Nederlandse Loterij Organisatie (NLO) until June 2027.
Through this deal, Intralot will continue to provide operational and management services for NLO's retail sports betting brand Toto.
Toto has over 4,000 retail outlets nationwide and is the main sponsor of the Dutch football league (i.e., Toto KNVB Beker).
NLO will also gain access to the sports betting platform Intralot Orion, which covers all sports betting events, such as horse racing, greyhound racing, virtual and pre-recorded games.
Finally, Intralot Photon terminals will provide transaction and risk management services as well as monitoring and performance tracking for Toto games.
Ireland
As for Ireland, a new contract signed with the Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI) will be effective until November 2027.
This will enable Intralot Ireland to continue supporting the operator through its advanced central gaming system, integrated into a retail network of 4,300 Intralot terminals.
Intralot will not only support the operator through retail access points, but the company will also serve online customers based on web and mobile platforms.
For Intralot's lottery division, this appears to be the busiest time of the year, as it confirmed in early June that it had successfully transitioned the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC)'s retail lottery system to the cloud-based technology platform LotosX Omni ecosystem.
This marks BCLC as one of the first lotteries in the world to adopt a fully cloud-based system.
