Betr has launched a new feature called "Group Mode" for its fantasy sports platform, Betr Picks.
Meanwhile, the company has started a trial run of its new Betr Sportsbook. These developments coincide with the start of the NFL season.
"Group Mode" allows Betr Picks users to compete against each other in a peer-to-peer format. Currently, Betr Picks is live in Florida and Massachusetts and plans to expand to other states, including Virginia, Arizona, Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia, New Hampshire, and Delaware.
Once these expansions are complete, Betr Picks will launch in 33 states and the District of Columbia, covering about 65% of the U.S. population.
Meanwhile, the new Betr Sportsbook has been trialed in Ohio and Virginia. The platform is built on the Chameleon platform acquired by Betr in May 2023, offering a variety of betting options, including in-game betting, player bets, futures, and traditional markets such as money lines and spreads.
Subject to regulatory approval, this sports betting is expected to expand to Indiana, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Kentucky.
Earlier this year, Betr established a partnership with Betting Ladies, aimed at increasing women's participation in sports betting through educational content and community support.
Betr's expansion efforts also include the launch of Betr Combat, a vertical media focused on combat sports, launched in February 2023.
Furthermore, the acquisition of the Chameleon platform from FansUnite Entertainment in May 2023 provided Betr with new features in sports betting and gaming solutions.
