The upcoming SBC Summit will offer attendees the opportunity to participate in a series of masterclasses that provide free training and certification. These courses are designed to enhance the event's conference agenda and will take place from September 24 to 26 at the Lisbon International Exhibition Center, specifically near the Global Market Lounge in the Academy and On-site Training Area.

The event has confirmed three masterclasses:
Sports Betting Training Services Masterclass
Jonathan Smith, founder of Sportsbook Training Services with over 25 years of experience in the betting industry, will host this masterclass. On Tuesday, participants will explore the basics of odds compilation and sports modeling techniques, delving into the mathematical theories and statistical models behind odds creation.
The session will discuss how data providers generate odds and how to offer more accurate sports match outcome prediction strategies. On Wednesday, a practical demonstration will guide attendees through the pricing process of a Premier League football match, creating core markets, and developing additional markets such as bookings and corners, and understanding how they integrate with BetBuilders.
Electronic Gaming Management Masterclass
Lucas Wijsman, known for his expertise at the Slot Academy (now Electronic Gaming Academy), will host this masterclass, focusing on the operations of physical casinos. Tuesday's session will delve into the expectations and motivations of electronic gaming players, helping operators to categorize casino visitors and accordingly devise marketing strategies.
Wednesday's session will explore how the minimum and maximum bet settings on slot machines affect profit potential, while Thursday's session will discuss game configuration and promotional activities, focusing on RTP, game duration, and volatility to attract different types of players.
Counter-Terrorism, Crisis Response, and Cybersecurity Masterclass
Noel G. Whelan, with 30 years of experience in the military and counter-terrorism fields, will host this masterclass. On Tuesday, attendees will participate in a crisis simulation course "Surviving in Corporate Red 10," aimed at enhancing leadership abilities and problem-solving skills under high pressure.
Wednesday's session will discuss strategies to curb terrorism and money laundering in the digital economy, while Thursday's session will focus on defending against cyber attacks, emphasizing risk identification and strategies to protect company assets and reputation.
