From October 7 to 11, the 1st Responsible Gaming Week will take place, promoted by Loterias do Estado do Paraná (Lottopar), which will bring together speakers from Brazil, Switzerland, Asia, Belgium, and Argentina. The event is open to the public over 18 years old, officials, industry professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about responsible gaming. Registration is free and can be done through this link.
The in-person event will open on October 7 at the Canal da Música, starting at 1 PM. That day, places are limited and only those who guarantee their access through the Sympla platform can attend the talks. Registration entitles you to follow the event, a welcome kit, and a certificate, which will be sent by email on the last day of the event.

Among the confirmed speakers and moderators for October 7 are the Secretary of Prizes and Betting of the Federal Government of Brazil, Regis Dudena; Raiana Falcão, also from the Secretary of Prizes and Betting; the Executive Vice President of the National Council for Self-Regulation in Advertising (CONAR), Juliana Albuquerque; the Director of Institutional Relations of Club Atlhetico Paranaense, Mauro Holzmann; the presenter from Jovem Pan, Marc Sousa; one of the founders of the Women's Association of the Gaming Industry (AMIG), Ana Bárbara Costa; and lawyers specialized in the sector, Camila Fernandes Oliveira (Nelson Wilians Lawyers); Fernando Prigol (Prigol Lawyers); Rodrigo Castor de Mattos (Delivar de Mattos & Castor); Filipe Rodrigues, lawyer and founder of Jogo Positivo, among other participants.
From October 8 to 11, always at 2 PM, the conferences of the 1st Responsible Gaming Week will take place online, broadcast on the Lottopar YouTube channel. It is not necessary to register for these sessions, just access the Lottopar YouTube channel at youtube.com/@lottopar.
Starting the online talks, on October 8, Cristina Swan and Daniel Chan, from the ULIS offices in Switzerland and Hong Kong respectively, will show how technology and innovation help in monitoring to combat fraud in sports. On October 9, the National Coordinator of Fraud from Belgium and Senior Delegate of the Sports Fraud team of the Belgian police, Guy Reinenbergh, will discuss how Europe has implemented measures to promote safe gaming among bettors. On October 10, Diana Fusco, Coordinator of Responsible Gaming and Social Responsibility of the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (CIBELAE), will provide an overview of responsible gaming actions in Latin America. At 2:30 PM, the editor of the BNL Data blog and president of the Legal Gaming Institute, Magno José, will talk about responsible gaming from a Brazilian perspective.
On the last day, October 11, Fabio Hegenbart Bueno, Liaison Officer of Brazil with the Regional Office of Interpol in Buenos Aires, will discuss how international cooperation helps promote fairness and responsible gaming in sports betting. Lottopar will close the event.
According to the CEO of Lottopar, the goal of the event is to educate and promote a safe and healthy gaming experience for those who bet, as well as to minimize the risks associated with excessive and uncontrolled gaming. "That's why we promote the 1st Responsible Gaming Week with the goal of raising awareness among the people of Paraná that sports betting and lottery games are a form of entertainment and as I always say, if you're going to bet, do it responsibly and always set a limit," said Daniel Romanowski.
