Scientific Games has once again been certified by the World Lottery Association (WLA) with the Responsible Gaming Framework Certificate of Alignment, consolidating its global leadership in responsible gaming. This recertification, which covers its operations and technology across five continents and its service to 150 lotteries in 50 countries, was obtained after a rigorous independent international audit process.
Mélissa Azam, senior manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at WLA, highlighted: “We congratulate Scientific Games for their steadfast commitment to continuous improvement in responsible gaming. The company has integrated advanced educational tools and programs that benefit both operators and players, demonstrating an ethical approach and risk reduction in the gaming sector.”
The evaluation process demonstrated that Scientific Games maintains a high level of compliance, exceeding the minimum requirements set by the WLA. The certification validates the company's ongoing effort to incorporate responsible practices in product development and sales strategies.
Since 2015, Scientific Games has been a pioneer in obtaining responsible gaming certifications, starting with its operations in Europe. The company achieved its first global certification in 2022, following the launch of its innovative Healthy Play program. This program offers science-based tools, cutting-edge technology, and best practices to strengthen education on responsible gaming at all levels.
