Evolution has successfully obtained a software supplier license issued by the Isle of Man. This allows Evolution to provide services to operators licensed in the Isle of Man, which has become increasingly popular among gaming companies in recent years.
The license was issued with the assistance of the e-gaming consultancy firm SolutionsHub, which supported Evolution throughout the licensing process.
The Isle of Man has become a renowned online gaming hub, attracting numerous software providers due to its regulatory framework.
James O'Kelly, Operations Director at SolutionsHub, stated: "We have seen a significant increase in the number of software providers choosing to obtain their license in the Isle of Man, recognizing the value of proving themselves as trustworthy partners to gaming operators."
The licensing process involved collaboration with the Isle of Man Digital Organization and the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.
Tara Leneghan, Manager of Digital Strategy Partnerships at the Isle of Man, noted: "We are delighted to support Evolution in exploring the e-gaming sector in the Isle of Man with SolutionsHub. Attracting such excellent applicants truly demonstrates the benefits of obtaining a license in the Isle of Man. Congratulations to the Evolution Group!"
Earlier this year, Evolution announced plans to acquire casino table game provider Galaxy Gaming, with the deal valued at $85 million. This acquisition aims to strengthen Evolution's position in the US market, with the transaction expected to be completed by mid-2025, pending regulatory approval.
In addition to its acquisition strategy, Evolution also expanded its operations in the US by launching live casino games in Delaware in 2024 through a partnership with BetRivers. The company's recent developments reflect its ongoing efforts to expand its market reach and comply with regulatory standards across jurisdictions.
