This is part of the transformation of the Lottery from analog to digital, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.
Argentina.- From 2024, the Lotería de Córdoba is in transition towards becoming a sustainable institution. In this context, it is working towards the certification of the ISO 20121 standard for sustainable events, which guides organizations towards more ethical practices, respectful of the environment, and socially aware.
This week it announced its participation in the First Public-Private Forum on Biofuel to be held this Thursday, September 26, at the headquarters of the Córdoba City Council. There, the Lottery will commit to using biofuel E17 for its entire fleet of cars.
It is worth noting that B20 and E17 provide fuels specially designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 9 percent and 3.5 percent respectively, compared to national blends.

In this first meeting, it will provide a space for articulation, integration, and collaboration among researchers, private sector companies, government agencies, and civil society, will facilitate the signing of agreements, and will conclude with an institutional closing.
Authorities of the Lottery highlighted: "This decision to make the institution sustainable has opened a door to a new work scheme. Firstly, it had to adapt in terms of working methods, generating through training and workshops, an internal culture strongly oriented by the sustainable outlook and with the goal of those working in the Lottery incorporating environmentally friendly practices."
For its part, the Lottery is on the way to implementing the ISO14067 standard, a standard that refers to the carbon footprint, it is a guide for the quantification and communication of the internationally accepted footprint in relation to environmental management approaches.
