The 2025 Global Gaming Awards calls for gaming companies from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to submit their self-nominations for this year's competition.
We urge companies that have achieved milestone accomplishments, launched influential games, or introduced innovative services in the past 12 months to complete the nomination process through the official website by October 11, 2024.
The self-nomination process is streamlined, requiring only a brief introduction of the company's recent achievements (limited to a maximum of 480 words). Event organizers state that the more detailed and fact-based the submissions are, the greater the chances of being shortlisted.
Companies are advised to avoid using generic personal profiles and achievements unrelated to the EMEA region, as these will not increase their chances of being shortlisted.
The Global Gaming Awards selects winners from 10 nominees in each category, with being shortlisted considered a significant achievement within the industry.
Event manager Mariya Savova emphasized the importance of these nominations, stating: "Each year we receive more self-nominations, and we hope to break all records this year. We believe our 'most prestigious' information is justified, as companies are shortlisted for valid reasons."
Savova also expressed excitement about this year's event moving to a new location. "I am delighted to announce that the Global Gaming Awards will conclude on the first day, January 20, at ICE 2025's venue, Fira Barcelona Gran Via," she announced.
She concluded, "For the past seven years, we have been honored to hold the event at London's Hippodrome Casino, but as the Global Gaming Awards for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa have always been held during the ICE period, we wish to maintain this tradition, which is why we are moving to the beautiful city of Barcelona in January."
The Global Gaming Awards for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are organized by Gambling Insider, with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies overseeing the voting process. This year's main partner is BetConstruct, with category sponsors including Interblock, GR8 Tech, Spribe, Bragg Gaming, and EveryMatrix among other renowned companies.
Companies interested in submitting nominations should visit the official Global Gaming Awards website by October 11. For the shortlisted companies, this recognition is an industry acknowledgment, and winners will be honored at the event in Barcelona.
