In a new operation against illegality, the Gaming Control Authority raided a gambling house.
Bolivia.- In response to complaints from neighbors, the Gaming Control Authority (AJ) managed to dismantle an underground gambling house located on Corumbá street, a few blocks from the second ring of the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
During the intervention, a physical bingo in full operation was found, and a poker table was seized, along with various equipment used for the development of illegal gambling activities.
The regional director of the AJ, Cristian Alvarado, highlighted the importance of these actions and assured that "the institution will continue to work tirelessly to combat underground gambling and protect citizens from possible scams, ensuring that gambling is conducted in fair and transparent conditions."

It is worth noting that during September, the AJ carried out other actions against illegality in the region. Last week, they intervened in a clandestine poker tournament, and the Regional Director of Santa Cruz of the AJ was assaulted by a player who showed resistance.
A week earlier, the Bolivian Police and the Public Ministry supported the AJ in a procedure in which 39 illegal gaming machines were seized in a house located on Warnes street also in Santa Cruz. The intervention was executed after an exhaustive investigation that allowed identifying the place. The establishment had a sophisticated system of security cameras and surveillance, with the aim of alerting its operators about possible interventions by the AJ.
