Scientific Games has signed a new eight-year contract to continue its game, technology and services agreement with Lotería Electrónica.
Scientific Games will upgrade Lotería Electrónica’s central system to its Momentum ecosystem.
It will also look to amplify the player experience at retail venues with new WAVE retailer terminals, Lottery Inmotion digital advertising displays, jackpot signs and ticket checkers.
Scientific Games will develop a new mobile app to engage players of the Puerto Rico-based company's products with promotions and features, such as keno and jackpot game drawing results.
Additionally, Scientific Games will enhance the SGEP program in Puerto Rico with Momentum’s SciTrak platform.
John Schulz, president of Global Instant Products and the Americas at Scientific Games, said: “Our teams worked diligently to propose a strategic full-portfolio solution for Lotería Electrónica that builds upon a strong foundation that began in 2005.
“The overall solution features our most advanced technologies and services supported by a great staff of employees that will power the Lottery for its next era of growth and long-term sustainability.”
Scientific Games said the partnership has so far led to a 65 per cent increases in Lotería Electrónica’s sales and an 81 per cent increase in profits from 2005 to 2023.
