The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Tuesday reported February revenue of $477.2 million from all forms of gambling, down 4.3% from February 2024.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville led Pennsylvania casinos in February with revenue of $89.5 million, down 2.9% year-over-year. Valley Forge Casino Resort posted revenue of $81.4 million, up 9.9%. Rivers Casino Philadelphia brought in $51.2 million, up 5% increase, edging out Parx Casino in Philadelphia, which posted $49.9 million, down 2.7%.
Revenue from slots in February was $186.3 million, down 8.1%. Parx Casino posted $28.9 million, down 2.7%. Wind Creek Bethlehem generated $20.5 million, a down 15.3%. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s slot revenue was $20.4 million, down 6.5%.
February igaming revenue was up 12.3% compared to the same period in 2024. Hollywood Casino at Penn National generated $77.6 million, up 0.5%, and led all Pennsylvania operators. Valley Forge Casino Resort posted $56.6 million, up 26.5 %, and Rivers Casino Philadelphia $34.2 million, up 17.%. No other Pennsylvania casino’s igaming revenue broke $10 million.
Sports betting revenue was $7.5 million from a handle of $756.9 million. Valley Forge Casino Resort generated $13.7 million from a handle of $284.5 million, but no other Pennsylvania casino brought in sports betting revenue of more than $150,000, and only six made a profit, arguably because of the Philadelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl. Live Casino Pittsburgh generated $145,583 from a handle of $866,247, and Rivers Casino Philadelphia posted $115,186 from a handle of $12 million. There were 11 casinos in the state that suffered sports betting revenue losses.
