The agreement seeks collaboration between both institutions to create prevention and dissemination programs to raise awareness about illegal gambling and gambling addiction.
Argentina.- This Wednesday, October 9, at the headquarters of the Council of the Judiciary of the City of Buenos Aires, the framework cooperation agreement with the City Lottery (LOTBA) was signed.
The meeting was attended by the president of the Council, Karina Leguizamón, the second vice-president, Manuel Izura, the councilors Martín Converset, Javier Concepción, Gabriela Zangaro and the president of the City Lottery of Buenos Aires, Jesús Mariano Acevedo.
According to a statement, the signed agreement aims to promote cooperation between the parties to implement coordination tasks, technical assistance, and mutual collaboration in the development of joint dissemination and information activities for primary prevention, awareness, and visibility regarding illegal gambling, gambling addiction, and responsible gambling.
It also seeks to raise awareness and visibility of the various crimes and infractions surrounding the activity, the violation of regulations related to lotteries, betting, and games allowed or authorized by local laws both physical and online.
