XVII Congress of the Game of Castile and León: what the event program consists of

The event will be inaugurated by the Counselor of the Presidency of the Junta de Castilla y León, Luis Miguel González Gago.

Spain.- The Junta de Castilla y León is preparing to kick off the XVII Congress of Gaming of Castilla y León. The event will take place on October 29 and 30 at the Lienzo Norte Exhibition and Congress Center, in Ávila.

The meeting will be inaugurated by the Counselor of the Presidency of the Junta de Castilla y León, Luis Miguel González Gago, who will be accompanied by Jesús Manuel Sánchez Cabrera, mayor of the City Council of Ávila. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony on October 30 will be led by the general director of Institutional Relations of the Junta de Castilla y León, Irene Muñoz Vicente, who will be accompanied by the president of the Provincial Council of Ávila, Carlos García González.

During the congress, various presentations and panel discussions will be held, where current and interesting topics will be analyzed, both for the private gaming business sector and for the various public administrations attending the meeting. Some of the topics addressed will be regulatory aspects, technology, and responsible gaming.

The panel "Data protection in the field of Gaming. Biometric data processing" will be moderated by Susana Pastor Pons, general director of Taxes and Gaming Regulation of the Government of Castilla – La Mancha. Participants will include José Luis Piñar Mañas, professor of administrative law at the University CEU San Pablo and former director of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, Juan Antonio Hernández Corchete, associate professor of administrative law at the University of Vigo and former lawyer of the Constitutional Court, Daniel Choliz del Junco, lawyer in the digital law and compliance department of Deloitte, and Leire Arbona Puértolas, director of the legal and compliance department of Véridas.

On the other hand, the colloquium "Do we need a new regulatory framework for Gaming and betting? Autonomous authorizations for public games. Municipal regulation, limits. Advertising treatment", will be moderated by Jesús Martínez García, general director of technological innovation of the Autonomous City of Melilla and participants will include Jose Mª Baño León, professor of administrative law at the Complutense University of Madrid, Alejandro Landaluce Arias, general director of CeJuego, and Eduardo Nieto Jimenez, lawyer specialized in Gaming.

Furthermore, the meeting "Payment methods in games and bets, and in their specific establishments", will be moderated by Jesús Ignacio Pérez Aguilera, general director of taxes, financing, financial relations with local corporations and gaming of the Junta de Andalucía, and participants will include Nacho Frade, commercial director and country manager in Spain and Mexico of OKTO, Emilio Miranda Fontes, country manager Spain CODERE, Luis Manuel Rubí Blanc, lawyer at Rubí Blanc and Associates, and Carlos Arenas Salmeron, chief inspector of the Bank Fraud Group. Additionally, journalist and writer Pilar Cernuda will give the lecture "Law and order: with private Gaming, you do not play."
