Starting this October 11, the regulation will take effect.
Brazil.- From this Friday, October 11, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has decreed that affiliated clubs whose betting house sponsors are not authorized by the Ministry of Finance, will not be able to appear on the team shirts during official matches.
In an official statement addressed to clubs and federations, it was highlighted that an article was incorporated into the regulations that links advertising on uniforms to the "strict compliance" of the rules established by the Ministry of Finance.
According to the CBF, betting houses that do not have authorization from the Ministry of Finance are «prohibited from conducting any type of advertising or commercial promotion», and those who violate this regulation may face both legal and sports sanctions, as stipulated in the General Competition Regulations (RGC).

Following this determination, teams such as Grêmio, Corinthians, Bahia, and Palmeiras could be affected since they have sponsorship agreements with Esportes da Sorte, a company that has not yet obtained the national license required by the Ministry of Finance.
According to the Rio de Janeiro Lottery (Loterj), Esportes da Sorte Brasil, the parent company of Esportes da Sorte, is not yet listed in the official list of companies approved to operate in Brazil during this transitional period.
However, Athletico Paranaense, another of the clubs that was sponsored by Esportes da Sorte, was the first to react, announcing the suspension of its contract with the betting house.
Through this new agreement, the Hard Rock Bet brand, belonging to Hard Rock Digital, will take advantage of the new Odds Feed+ product from Kambi.
Press release.- Kambi Group has reached a historic agreement with Hard Rock Digital, one of the leading sports betting operators in the U.S., to offer its Odds Feed+ solution to the operator's multi-state brand Hard Rock Bet, which is available in eight U.S. states, including Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Thanks to this collaboration, Kambi will provide Hard Rock Bet with its complete range of odds, for both pre-match and live betting, with odds that will uniquely benefit from the power of Kambi's "turnkey" solution for betting houses as well as Kambi's artificial intelligence trading division, Tzeract. Hard Rock Bet is expected to launch with Odds Feed+ from Kambi in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The complete library of Kambi odds is delivered through a single API integration, giving operators the ability to create their own custom Odds Feed+ package, with the freedom to review on demand. Hard Rock Bet will initially offer a selection of Kambi's global sports odds, however, the flexibility of Kambi's single API provides Hard Rock Bet with the ability to add additional international or U.S. sports as needed.
The collaboration with Hard Rock Digital marks a significant milestone in Kambi's long-term strategy. The partnership has great potential to become a significant revenue source for Kambi, depending on the scope of additional services that Hard Rock Digital adopts in the coming years.
Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi, stated: «This Odds Feed+ partnership with Hard Rock Digital represents another significant step forward for Kambi. The agreement builds on the strategy that Kambi established 18 months ago to leverage our position as a leading global provider of sports betting with the offering of standalone products that uniquely benefit from our turnkey sports betting. Hard Rock is one of the leading sports betting operators in the U.S. and precisely the kind of prestigious partner we were targeting as part of this modularization approach».
