The authorities are preparing a special opening event for partners.
Argentina.- After years of waiting, delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and months of construction, there is finally a date for the inauguration of the Casino del Río and the Sol del Río Complex, in the city of Viedma, Río Negro.
The company Crown Casinos announced that on Thursday, October 31, an inaugural event for exclusive partners will take place at the new complex. From November 1st, the doors will be open to the public.
The venue includes a casino, a hotel, a convention center, business rooms, a gastronomic promenade, and the refurbishment of the facilities of the Club Sol de Mayo, which ceded a site for the construction of the complex.
The gaming room of the casino will have more than 300 state-of-the-art machines, roulette tables, blackjack, poker, and mini craps. There will also be a Sport Bar sponsored by Betsur, a space where bets can be placed on more than 1,800 sports events worldwide. The complex will also offer a VIP room called Première, with 3D machines, massage chairs, and rest areas.
There will be a varied gastronomic offer. In the main room, there will be a restaurant managed by La Mezquita, with a small stage for shows and an event hall. The ground floor is completed with the space for conventions and events with room for 700 standing people, which can be divided into three smaller soundproofed rooms with independent access for each.
The hotel has 60 top-tier rooms distributed over five floors, with an infinity pool, spa, and gym.

In an interview with the local media VDM News, Pedro Sánchez, spokesperson for Crown Casinos, referred to this new facility as "a giant with good intentions," aiming to attract both residents and national and international tourists.
«Viedma has the potential to grow as a prominent tourist destination, and such investments should motivate other entrepreneurs to bet on the region,» he commented in an interview with Radio Nacional Viedma.
One of the points that generates the most expectation in this inauguration is the labor and economic impact it will have on the region. The personnel selection process is in its final stages. Sánchez reported that more than 300 resumes have been reviewed, and interviews have been conducted with about 150 candidates.
