The game studio donated €10,000 to the European Intercultural Club.
Press release.- BGaming supported a biodiversity education program in Lisbon, Portugal, with the goal of developing children's artistic skills and promoting community cohesion.
The creative game studio donated €10,000 this summer to the European Intercultural Club, a nonprofit organization that supports education, training, and employability of young people. BGaming's generous donation has now been used for repairs of the club's facilities and organizational needs, and another part funds a project to support children's skill development.
The new program 'Urban Nature Project – A Macro Story' will help students integrate with the urban environment surrounding them in a practical and multidisciplinary manner. The youth will combine elements of nature with cinema and audiovisual techniques, under the guidance of film artist Gonçalo Almeida.
After conducting observational walks through nature, the students of the Urban Nature Project will join Almeida to learn fundamental film techniques, including narrative techniques, filming, and editing, with the goal of promoting environmental awareness, developing creative skills, and strengthening the bonds between school, community, and the outdoors.
Gonçalo Almeida was born in Portugal and began his career as a film director, growing to become one of the most important names in fantasy cinema. He has directed and produced several critically acclaimed works, including "Faz-Me Companhia", "The Girl from Saturn", and "The Advent".
