Gaming giant BetMGM has again joined forces with American actor and comedian Chris Rock for an ad campaign.
“This new creative territory of the ‘Chris Rockin’ Locker Room Speech’ builds on the launch campaign from last year, and it’s great to be working with comedian Chris Rock again for the latest iteration,” Dan Towse, Director of Brand at LeoVegas Group, said in a news release. “A huge amount of work has gone into this and everyone from the internal teams to the support of Recipe and production house, have delivered an outstanding creative platform.”
In the ad that launched this week and will air on TV, radio and social media in the United Kingdom, Rock addresses professional athletes in a locker room, informing them of the betting markets available via BetMGM Sportsbook. He also promotes features like live betting and bet builders.
“Yo, team. Huddle up. At BetMGM, we’re giving the beautiful game a makeover! With all the action, on all the games. We go full Vegas ‘till full time, baby,” Rock says in the ad.
While the campaign promotes BetMGM’s products, such as its online casino and sportsbook, it also encourages responsible gambling. The advertisement highlights GambleAware, a United Kingom charity funding responsible gambling education, research and treatment.
MGM Resorts International launched the BetMGM brand in the United Kingdom last year in partnership with LeoVegas. The sportsbook app has proved successful in the country, topping the charts on the Apple App Store this year.
