Kent’s only casino has been given the green light for a major overhaul. CGI images show how the Grosvenor Casino at Westwood Cross, Broadstairs, will be transformed with new signage, lighting and cladding.
All existing signs will be stripped from the outside of the building and replaced with a new circular logo and illuminated individual lettering. Pictures also show a living wall teeming with plant life at the new entrance.
In planning documents, bosses said: “The site is currently in use as a licensed casino, operating as an entertainment and leisure facility. The venue offers gaming activities, including table games and electronic gaming machines, as well as associated amenities such as a bar, restaurant, and customer lounge areas.”
