Spain.- Expojoc is gearing up to celebrate its 2024 edition on November 27 at The Westin hotel in Valencia. During the gaming congress in the Spanish city, the bingo sector will take center stage.
The event is supported by the Spanish Confederation of Bingo Game Business Organizations (CEJ), the Business Federation of Bingo and Gambling Games (FEJBA), the Valencian Association of Bingos (AVALBIN), and the Valencian Autonomous Association of Legalized Game Entrepreneurs (EJUVA). The current scenario of the sector will be thoroughly analyzed through conferences, round tables, and networking during the meeting.
The congress changed its original date due to organizational issues and its proximity to the Castilla y León Gaming Congress held at the end of October. Initially, October 30 was set as the date, but in early April, it was decided to move the exhibition to November 6 due to organizational reasons. Finally, due to the proximity to the Castilla y León Gaming Congress, it was moved to the end of November.
In July, the Spanish Confederation of Gaming (CEJ) held its XLV General Assembly under the presidency of Fernando Henar, where it gathered associations from the Spanish bingo gaming sector. The meeting addressed the main challenges of the sector.

One of the main topics has been the concern about the evolution of sales of physical bingo cards, which closed the first quarter of 2024 with a market share of 85 percent compared to what was sold in 2019. On the other hand, the growth of the Electronic Network Bingo, which reached rates higher than 60 percent compared to 2019, was highlighted.
The CEJ also met in Valencia with the aim of addressing the specific demands of the bingo sector in Valencia and outlining strategies. Among these demands is the search for new gaming modalities and the update of the machine offerings to stay at the level of other national territories.
