The initiative was part of the "What's at Stake" program.
Argentina.- The Buenos Aires City Lottery (LOTBA) trained workers from the Public Prosecutor's Office within the “What's at Stake” program and the collaborative work with this public entity.
The training was aimed at the team of the "MPF Closer" program with the goal of incorporating into their workshops tools related to the risks associated with gambling addiction and its impact on minors.
“In this way, we reaffirm our commitment to work alongside the agencies of the different powers in the protection of minors and in the eradication of illegal gambling,” stated LOTBA.
During the meeting, LOTBA professionals shared information, concepts, and recommendations about the responsible use of technology, the promotion of safe gambling, and the early detection of problematic gambling in minors.
This training is part of the comprehensive program “What's at Stake” and the joint initiatives that have been carried out with the City's Public Prosecutor's Office for the prevention, dissemination, and awareness of child gambling addiction, clandestine gambling, and crimes associated with illegal online betting.
