On Tuesday (29), Genius Sports signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement at the Ministry of Finance to deliver its expertise in combating match-fixing to the government. Through the partnership, the company will exchange cutting-edge data on suspicious manipulation activities to contribute to the integrity of sports at a particularly important time, the regulation of betting in Brazil.
“Genius Sports has been very active in defending the integrity of Brazilian sports in recent years. We have carried out a series of integrity actions in Brazil, such as the creation of ABRADIE (Brazilian Association for Sports Integrity) and conducting workshops with various Brazilian sports entities aimed at educating key sports figures, such as athletes, coaches, referees, and directors,” highlights Guilherme Buso, VP Brazil of Genius Sports.
"Now, this agreement with the Ministry of Finance is another action that further enhances the work of integrity within our country. Since the beginning of our work within the federal government, Genius Sports has been available to collaborate directly with combating result manipulation and we are very pleased to be part of this initiative of the Ministry,” he adds.

The company has been prominent in Brazil for activities involving one of the pillars that Genius Sports most defends, education to contribute to sports integrity.
So much so that just in the past few months, Genius Sports conducted integrity workshops with clubs and sports entities to educate athletes, coaching staff, and directors on the best ways to combat illegal practices in sports.

- Athletico PR (professional and youth teams)
- National Basketball League
- Women's Basketball League
- National Futsal League
To top it off, Genius Sports hosted the 3rd Brazilian Sports Integrity Summit which took place at the Football Museum in Pacaembu Stadium, in São Paulo.
