Argentina.- The Regulatory Entity of Gambling of Salta province (EnReJA) announced a series of training days to address the issue of illegal gambling and the risks associated with the use of technology in young people. These activities aim to provide educational tools to various sectors of the community.
These sessions, free for attendees, aim to provide concrete and clear knowledge so that educators, health professionals, and other interested parties can guide young people about the risks of problematic gambling consumption.
The first session will be "Connected and at Risk: Adolescents, Technology, and Illegal Gambling" and will take place on November 1st at the Auditorium Hall on Vicente López street 585, from 9 to 12. It will be aimed at secondary level teachers and will include special activities for teenagers, who can participate in a workshop at the Cultural Powerplant on the same day, from 15 to 17.
On November 2nd, a second session, "Modern Challenges: Detection and Treatment of Pathological Gambling and use of technology in young people", will take place at the Auditorium Hall of the Maternal and Child Hospital of Salta. This activity is directed at health professionals, education, law, and social work, among others, and seeks to offer a multidisciplinary approach for the detection and treatment of gambling addictions in minors.
