The Colombian lottery and the National Learning Service present "Entrepreneurs of Luck".
Colombia.- With the goal of training and technifying young people in the world of sales of games of chance, the National Learning Service Regional Boyacá and the Boyacá Lottery signed an alliance and presented the initiative "Entrepreneurs of Luck".
In this way, the SENA Regional Boyacá will certify in labor competencies those who perform this work in the department, and will also train new talents in sales techniques for games of chance.
The SENA will train a group of new sellers through a complementary training program, called Sales Techniques for Games of Chance.
From the higher education institution, it was explained to the local media Boyacá 7 Días that the SENA will strengthen the popular economy in Boyacá by promoting the qualification of more than 60 traditional lottery sellers, through the process of Evaluation and Certification of Labor Competencies.
They also assured that this initiative recognizes the value of empirical knowledge and the experience accumulated by those who, for decades, have been a fundamental part of the economic and social fabric of the region.

The director of the Regional Boyacá of the SENA, Ramón Anselmo Vargas López, stated to the local media: "The process of evaluation and certification of the labor competency standard 260101047 'Sell products and services according to customer needs and commercial objectives', will allow sellers to validate and formalize their skills in sales, customer service, and commercial strategies."
Furthermore, he added that this alliance also contemplates the training of new talents with the complementary training program called Sales Techniques for Games of Chance.
On the other hand, Vargas López assured that through this training process, the SENA will impart practical knowledge that will help aspirants develop skills in sales and customer service, to improve their employment opportunities and contribute to the growth of the lottery's sales force in the department.
The official concluded his presentation by saying: "This initiative is part of the national strategy of the SENA to strengthen the popular economy, recognizing that lottery sellers are fundamental agents in generating resources for public health and regional development. The certification not only validates their knowledge but also contributes to the formalization and dignification of their work, thus promoting a more inclusive and sustainable economic model."
