The entity signed a new agreement that will benefit the town of Villa Río Bermejito in Chaco.
Argentina.- So far in 2024, the Lotería Chaqueña has strengthened its commitment to social responsibility within the province. This has encompassed social, sports, educational, and security areas.
Following this line, this week, the president of Lotería Chaqueña, Lucas Apud Masín signed an agreement with the mayor of Villa Río Bermejito, Omar Reis, for the execution of a long-desired project for the community. The agreement establishes the construction of a small plaza in the Brandel Neighborhood.
After the signing, Apud Masín stated: “We understand the social and recreational significance that this new plaza will have, by directives from the governor, Leandro Zdero, we seek to carry out projects in the 70 municipalities that improve the lives of the people from Chaco”.
In terms of urban infrastructure, the Lottery focuses on those localities that need improvements. In August, it renewed its commitment to the community of Lote Chai to improve the municipal fabric, a project that includes ten blocks of sidewalks.
From a sports perspective, for example, in this last quarter, it signed agreements to carry out projects at the Club Atlético Ferrocarriles del Estado de General Pinedo; the construction of a new site for the Club Atlético Chaco For Ever, located on Route 16, kilometer 44 past Colonia Popular; the construction of sanitary facilities and installation of LED lighting, in one of the auxiliary fields of the club Juventud Atletic Club where.
Another focus is the commitment to combat illegal gambling. The Lotería Chaqueña in conjunction with the Lotería Correntina announced that they will work against illegal websites that promote clandestine gambling. Additionally, it recently carried out an operation against a scam network in Machagai that had illegally collected AR$8,000,000 (US$10,389) through bets made via WhatsApp.
