The donation of one ton of food was received by the "Casa del Niño y Primera Infancia J.M. Romero" in La Plata.
Argentina.- The director of games of the Lotería de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Mónica Vicente, and the commercial manager of Telekino, Diego Ariola, led the donation of one ton of food to the Supporting Association "Casa del Niño y Primera Infancia J.M. Romero", in La Plata. The Undersecretary of Education and Innovation of the Province, Yamila Olariaga, was also present.
The authorities of the supporting association located at streets 169 and 521 of the provincial capital, expressed their happiness and gratitude upon receiving the donation. The Casa del Niño is open from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. It was inaugurated in 1983 and currently serves 190 children, from infants to school age, providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
In addition to school hours, a very relational and social work is carried out. "We are a local reference that is fortunate to work for a very present community," stated its authorities.
This initiative arises from the agreement between Lotería and Telekino, to support the work carried out by different social organizations.
It is worth remembering that last month, the president of the Provincial Institute of Lotteries and Casinos (IPLyC Buenos Aires), Gonzalo Atanasof, led the donation of one ton of food to the Club Social y Deportivo “Los Tolosanos”, in La Plata, together with the firm Telekino. Representing him was the manager of Telekino, Ricardo Saggese.
"The neighborhood clubs have been doing an enormous job to contain in this very difficult context we are living in. Just here, in Los Tolosanos, about 120 kids from the neighborhood come to have a snack," highlighted Atanasof.
