The Patagonian lottery celebrated 46 years of supporting the people of Río Negro and reviewed the achievements of the last 12 months.
Argentina.- On the occasion of its 46th anniversary, Lotería de Río Negro issued a statement to celebrate another year of constant work towards the welfare and development of the Río Negro community. The provincial agency emphasized that it will continue to promote important social action works that directly benefit all the inhabitants of the province.
“Another year since the creation of the Lotería de Río Negro is completed, and this time there are plenty of reasons to celebrate,” stated the Patagonian entity. Among them, the achievement of the WLA Security Control Standard, its active participation in the fight against illegal online gambling in collaboration with the Association of State Lotteries, Quinielas, and Casinos (ALEA) and the inauguration of a modern warehouse in the Industrial Park.
A significant achievement was the International Security Certification that endorses the compliance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard. “This achievement represents a leap in quality, transparency, and security that brings confidence to all players at our sales points and positions the institution as one of the best lotteries in the country, becoming the second in Argentina to obtain it,” said the institution.
Furthermore, the fight against illegal gambling continues to be a priority. Along with ALEA, actions are being developed to prevent it, educating and raising awareness in society about the risks of unauthorized online gambling. In addition, Lotería de Río Negro continues to promote responsible gaming and the prevention of pathological behaviors. This year, the Responsible Gaming area was strengthened with talks and workshops in secondary schools. The main objective has been to educate young people on how to handle gaming responsibly and recognize the signs of risk behaviors, with a special emphasis on preventing illegal gambling, raising awareness about the risks associated with the use of unregulated betting platforms.
In line with its mission to continue growing, Lotería de Río Negro also inaugurated a modern complex in the Industrial Park, which fulfills various key functions for the entity: storage depot for files, organized space for vehicles, purchasing sector, and facilities for archives and offices.
