The traditional provincial game, Minibingo, will add USD 10,000, which is added to other draws whose prizes have already increased.

Argentina.- The Lottery for Social Action Works (LOAS) continues to expand its game offerings. The entity from Santa Cruz announced that starting next Thursday, November 14, the Minibingo will add AR$10m (USD 10,000), in addition to the traditional vacant jackpot, starting at ball 40 and adding an additional ball each week until the prize is awarded.

This new opportunity to win adds to a series of improvements in games driven by the management of Juan Maier, president of the Santa Cruz Lottery.

“In addition to the extra appeal in Minibingo, other games have experienced innovations to increase the chances of winning. In Telebingo, players can win a brand new car every week, while Rebingo recently introduced the progressive ball mode, increasing a ball each week until the accumulated jackpot is won,” explained representatives from the Santa Cruz Lottery.

While the entity works towards expanding its game offerings, it also continues to carry out tasks to promote responsible gaming and combat the access of young people to betting sites throughout the provincial territory.

In this regard, in August, representatives of the entity met with their counterparts from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Environment at the Education Council to coordinate efforts and benefit the educational community with the commitment to work on joint projects that promote the prevention of pathological gambling in minors and awareness of the risks of illegal betting.

The goal of the meeting was to develop dissemination campaigns to sensitize parents of students about the importance of preventing minors' access to illegal betting sites and promoting mental health in the educational community.

Additionally, during the meeting, the importance of Law No. 3304, which allocates 95 percent of lottery revenues to social action works, was highlighted.

In addition to this meeting, the province of Santa Cruz announced that they are working on a program of measures to prevent illegal online gambling in adolescents and minors, with the collaboration of provincial agencies.

The initiative seeks to prevent practices that lead adolescents to compulsive behaviors on illegal sites. From the Santa Cruz Lottery, it was emphasized that their games are exclusively for people over 18 years old.

“It is vital that parents control the websites their children visit, to be able to report and eradicate illegal sites together. Pages ending in .bet.ar are legal and do not allow minors to enter, while the others must be targeted in the fight against illegality,” they explained through a statement.
