The Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (Cibelae) will carry out on November 27 and 28 webinars titled "Cybersecurity and innovation in gaming: when the important becomes essential", aimed at addressing the current and future challenges of lotteries in an increasingly digitalized world.
These meetings will offer a deep look at the growing relevance of cybersecurity and the impact of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, on the management and evolution of the official gaming sector.
Teresita Benítez, director of Informatics of the Social Assistance Institute (IAS) of the Argentine province of Formosa and coordinator of the Technology Commission of Cibelae, said: "We organize these sessions to invite you to reflect on the growing relevance of cybersecurity and the incorporation of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, in the future development of lotteries".
And she added: "Our goal is to provide Cibelae members with practical tools and concrete strategies to adapt to this new reality, while we promote a proactive approach to the challenges posed by the future and strengthen the ties within our community".
