The New Hampshire sports betting handle increased by 1.9 percent year-on-year in October, reaching $79.3 million.

The sports betting handle was the highest since March, with mobile sports betting covering $69.5 million of the state-wide amount. Retail sportsbooks generated a $9.8 million handle.

However, the New Hampshire Lottery financial report also showed a drop in sports betting revenue, slipping by 33.2 percent year-over-year to $5.8 million. Revenues also dropped month-over-month by 36.6 percent. The $5.8 million is the lowest revenue figure since June, when three of the four major leagues weren’t in action. The NFL, NBA and NHL had started by the end of October.

DraftKings operates all sports betting in New Hampshire. The sportsbook operator operates retail sportsbooks at three state locations and offers its betting platform statewide.

DraftKings is looking to expand these options, with CEO Jason Robins talking about the potential of non-sports betting prediction markets like those that exploded in popularity before the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

The company also posted a revenue increase in the third quarter, although this period does not include New Hampshire’s October numbers.
