Argentina.- On a November 27 like today, but 60 years ago, in 1964, the Lotería Chaqueña held its first draw in history, after the Legislature had sanctioned, a year earlier, the Law 500, which was later promulgated by the governor at that time, Deolindo Felipe Bittel. Over these six decades, the institution has gone through all kinds of moments but today stands as a model of social development collaboration in the province, with an inclusive and supportive vision that focuses on the promotion of sports, culture, education, health, and tourism.
"It's 60 years of a history that has been imprinted in every corner of the province, because there is no city or town where Lotería Chaqueña has not left its mark," emphasized the president of the agency, Lucas Apud Masín, on this anniversary.
The current Board of Lotería Chaqueña has been working hard to honor the legacy of the pioneers who conceived it as a charitable entity, oriented towards the common good, with the essential purpose that the funds collected through legal gambling always return to the community.

"The impulse of Governor Leandro Zdero, who has expressly asked us to ensure that the works and contributions reach every corner of Chaco, is fundamental," stressed the head of Lotería Chaqueña.

In the sports field, comprehensive refurbishments were financed in the clubs Regatas Resistencia, Chaco For Ever and Club Barrio UPCP of Resistencia, Juventud Atlético of El Sauzalito, Caza y Pesca of Las Palmas, Ferrocarriles del Estado of General Pinedo, and Villa Elena of La Verde.
The Board of Lotería Chaqueña praised the fulfilled commitment of Governor Zdero to complete the construction of a new office building at the headquarters of Frondizi 55 in the provincial capital, which will be inaugurated on November 29 as part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary.
"These are works that continue to enrich our history and that will allow us to continue consolidating institutionally Lotería Chaqueña, whose essence is, was, and will be to bet on the social and cultural progress of the province," indicated Apud Masín.
