Playtech announced the launch of its live casino products in Finland through the Finnish state-owned monopoly operator Veikkaus.
The two companies hope to build on their existing cooperation agreement, which has been approved by regulatory authorities and fully integrates Playtech's live games into the Veikkaus platform. Since their collaboration began in February, the scope of their partnership in Finland now includes online poker and casinos, VLT machines, and casino management systems. This new agreement makes Playtech the first live casino supplier for Veikkaus.
November has been a busy month for Playtech, with the supplier announcing an extension of its partnership with Continent 8 Technologies, a collaboration that began 20 years ago. This was followed by a new mobile sports betting and casino agreement with Delaware North. Last week, Playtech also expanded its existing partnership with Bar One Racing.
Worth noting: In the third quarter, Playtech sold its Italian sports betting and gaming company Snaitech to Flutter for €2.3 billion (USD 2.42 billion).
Playtech's Commercial Director Fredrik Sylvander commented on this latest deal, saying: "We are delighted to complete this launch with Veikkaus, a significant milestone in our successful collaboration. We are proud to support Veikkaus with our state-of-the-art studios and exclusive gaming products to provide a high-quality live gaming experience."

For Veikkaus, this latest development comes after the company introduced Greentube to the Finnish market. Last month, Veikkaus was also fined €2.9 million for violating advertising regulations in Finland.
