Eighth place in the Brazilian Championship 2024, Corinthians will take the field on Tuesday night (3) to face a direct fight for a spot in next season's Libertadores. Timão faces Bahia at 8:00 PM (Brasília time), in their last match of the year playing in front of their fans. The Neo Química Arena will be the stage for the confrontation and also for another unprecedented action by Esportes da Sorte.
Sponsor of the Alvinegro club since mid-year, the company - a reference in the betting market - will distribute the famous Bonfim ribbons to fans attending the stadium to watch the match. Something unprecedented in the history of the Arena, about 10,000 bracelets will contain the impactful phrase "In the fight. In the grit. In faith. Until the end".
The initiative aims to represent the struggle that Corinthians faced throughout the season. Timão even fought against relegation at a certain point in the championship, but turned the situation around with the support of Esportes da Sorte and the Loyal Fans, and today, is in the pursuit of a spot in the main tournaments of Latin America.
"As a way to honor the faith and grit of Corinthians, on and off the field, represented by the thousands of passionate faithful who fill the stadiums, we thought of bringing elements that truly connect with the experience of this ascending trajectory and much overcoming throughout the season", states Sofia Aldin, CMO of Esportes da Sorte Group.
With the intention of further enhancing the potential of the action that will be carried out at the Neo Química Arena, the sponsor will display a preview video on its social networks, showing the amulet-gift to summon the crowd to cheer in the stands.
It is worth remembering that this is yet another initiative of the successful partnership between Corinthians and Esportes da Sorte throughout 2024.
During the season, the company was responsible for promoting a series of remarkable moments, such as helping the club in the signings of Dutch striker Memphis Depay and goalkeeper Hugo Souza. Both movements had financial support from the brand.
Last August, Esportes da Sorte gifted parents and children with tickets to watch the Corinthians game directly from the Neo Química Arena's box.
On the club's anniversary, on September 1st, it was responsible for planning a huge party for the match against Flamengo, for the Brasileirão, which featured a show by singer Negra Li, the Gaviões da Fiel drumline, and autographed shirts for the fans.
Also focused on promoting women's sports, the brand carried out activations in the decision of this year's Paulista Championship, when the Brabas faced Palmeiras in the fight for the title. Not to mention the bands and headbands alluding to striker Memphis distributed to the public in men's games.
