Habanero has been certified by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (MINCETUR) to operate in the regulated gambling market of the country.
This approval allows Habanero to offer its portfolio of games to operators within Peru, including titles such as Hot Hot Fruit and Zeus Deluxe.
Previously, Peru introduced a regulatory framework at the end of 2023, positioning the country as an emerging gambling market in the Latin American region.
The framework aims to bring structure to the industry while supporting player protection and market transparency.
The approval in Peru indicates that Habanero continues to focus on the Latin American market, with the company already operating in Colombia, Panama, and Buenos Aires.
It is noteworthy that the company is currently certified in 25 regulated markets worldwide.

In January 2024, Habanero partnered with SkillOnNet to distribute its games through brands such as PlayOJO and Spin Genie. Additionally, in December 2023, Habanero obtained a Swedish B2B license, enabling it to operate in major European markets.
