After ending the partnership with Betsat, Esporte Clube Vitória could announce this same week that it will replace the predecessor with a significantly larger amount in the club's coffers. The rubro-negro team would have signed a new deal with another betting company for an amount that doubles the previous one.
The value of the new deal highlights the growing appreciation of the sports betting market and Vitória's strength in negotiation. By Thursday, the club should announce a new sponsor.
Vitória has already announced this Monday that Betsat will no longer be the club's master sponsor.
The contract was around R$ 7.2 million per season, something around R$ 600,000 per month, the largest in the club's history.
The club issued the following statement:
“Until today (09/12), Betsat was the master sponsor of Vitória, becoming the first Brazilian club to join the brand. Since the beginning of the 2024 season, Betsat has been a great ally, fulfilling all its commitments and contributing significantly to the conquest of the Baiano Championship and the spot in next year's Copa Sudamericana. The board and the fans thank the partnership and wish much success to the brand in its new commercial and strategic paths!”
Betsat is a sports betting and online casino site that arrived in Brazil at the beginning of 2023 and soon managed to attract a large number of bettors.
The betting house, which was already successful in Europe, has also been making its mark in the Latin American market.
