The regulatory body for missionary gaming joined the third edition of the tech expo.
Argentina.- The Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC Misiones) participated and joined with a booth at the third edition of Makerland, the biggest tech festival in the region that merges science, technology, and innovation, where they showcased the quantum lottery machine, which has been the star of the Misionera Lottery draws since October.
Hundreds of people visited the space where the Misiones Lottery explained and demonstrated how the quantum lottery machine works, this new equipment that has been used for the draw of La Previa –Monday to Saturday at 10:30 am- and which has recently added the broadcast of the First Morning –Monday to Saturday at 12:15 pm-.
Throughout the afternoon, draws were held in which the public chose numbers from 00 to 99 and those who guessed exactly won gamer headphones and vouchers for a food outlet, while those who guessed the unit number won IPLyC merchandising.
Between each draw, explanatory videos were shown with the main features of the drawer that uses the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics to generate random numbers, completely unpredictable and not subject to patterns, meaning that each number has the same probability of being selected.
It was also shown how the new QuinApp web platform works, where bets can be placed from any mobile device and location. “In this way, the IPLyC joined the biggest technological event in the region, with innovation as a premise and with a service that is up to the technological transformations underway,” stated the missionary gaming regulatory body.

As explained by IPLyC Misiones, this new equipment uses the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics to generate random numbers. Completely unpredictable and not subject to patterns. That is, each number has the same probability of being selected. Moreover, it does not depend on mechanical systems that can fail or break.
The operation is through light photons that go through a tunnel that at the end of the journey splits into two. The photons choose one of these paths in a totally random manner without the intervention of any software.
This quantum drawer has international certification from the company Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), the only one in the world that grants this type of guarantee, which ensures transparency and security in the results. This is added to the control of the draw authorities, who complete the necessary auditing to provide security to our bettors.
