Sportingbet has adopted, revitalized, and graffitied four multi-sport courts at Cândido Portinari, Parque Villa-Lobos, in São Paulo, creating the Sportingbet Arena, a space for socializing, food trucks, leisure, and sports that directly benefits the population. To celebrate this achievement and further engage the community, on December 15, the betting house will host a free event for those over 18, operating from 9 am to 4 pm.

The initiative by Sportingbet aims to encourage free sports practice, as well as promote a healthy lifestyle, and street, musical, and behavioral cultures.

The launch party will promote free sports practice in a renewed environment, with a food court (food trucks). Visitors can enjoy sports challenges, MC battles, and more on December 15. Additionally, the space will have an extensive calendar of events throughout the year, all to celebrate sports.

To kick off the partnership, the company and Reserva Parques, the administrator of Villa-Lobos, promoted a broad renovation and revitalization of the space: new flooring, new equipment, and various improvements that include new painting and styling of the Arena. A large adjacent social area was also renovated, with a total replacement of the flooring, which received an urban art piece of about 2,000 m².

Antônio Forjaz, country manager of Sportingbet in Latin America, states that this partnership with Parque Villa-Lobos reflects the company's commitment to the community and the promotion of sports.

By revitalizing these courts and organizing events like this, we hope to create an environment that celebrates the passion for sports and offers unique leisure and socializing opportunities for everyone. We want the Sportingbet Arena to be a vibrant and welcoming meeting point, where all sports lovers can gather and enjoy unforgettable moments," he declares.

The event will be an opportunity to return the space to the community, unite football fans, promote social responsibility, and celebrate sports in a revitalized and lively environment, showing that the space serves, among other things, as a meeting point for all sports enthusiasts.

In addition, Sportingbet invited graffiti artist Fernando Chamarelli to give a significant artistic highlight to the project: one of the largest graffiti works in the world, covering about 2,000 m². This incredible urban artwork now adorns the multi-sport courts, providing a vibrant and culturally rich visual to the space.

For Fernando Chamarelli, it was an incredible experience and a milestone in his career. "It was a work of great importance for my career, the largest I have ever created. An art made to be appreciated from the sky, but that comes to life for those who walk on it. It's very cool to think about my art occupying a space dedicated to leisure and sports.

"It was a challenging project, but very cool in many ways. Moreover, the theme of the work is sports, my favorite hobby. While I was painting, the biggest desire that arose was to enter the courts and kick some goals

,” he concludes.

In addition, there is provision of various services to the park's visitors. “The partnership with Sportingbet enabled the revitalization of the sports areas of Parque Villa-Lobos, providing more comfort and safety for the thousands of visitors who engage in physical activities. This initiative reinforces the commitment to investing in public and free spaces, strengthening the brand's connection with the community,” argues Eduardo Rigotto, CEO of Reserva Parques

The courts are located near parking access 1 and 2 and gate 7 of the CPTM access, with the Ferris wheel serving as a landmark. Parque Villa Lobos receives annually 15 million visitors of different ages, focusing on sports practice and leisure moments with friends and family.

The project was developed jointly by the agency DPZ, which serves the brand in Brazil, and by NEOOH, one of the leading out-of-home (OOH) media companies in Brazil.

Program:

Starting at 9 am there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with the presence of the directors of the Park and Sportingbet. On Court 1, with the support of a functional football training team, there will be challenges such as target shooting and dominoes, with tips from Gordinho Embaixador.

On Court 2, basketball challenges will include dunks, long-distance shots, x1, and 3x3, with the presence of the influencer "Basketball for Life". On Court 3, there will be a functional class with one of the country's leading names, Norton Mello, plus a super dodgeball contest. Meanwhile, Court 4, which moves away from sports and brings in the lifestyle, will host a rhyme and breakdance battle, with the team from Batalha da Leste.
