The Chai Zhen Provincial Government has issued a notice to all local advertising companies and owners of venues with billboards, demanding that they cease all gambling-related advertising activities and dismantle all types of gambling advertisements within the province within one week.
Guidance from the Chai Zhen Provincial Government:
1. Stop all types of gambling advertising activities, including those on billboards, over-road gantry billboards, LED screen advertisements, and advertisements on tuk-tuks, etc. The related companies are required to dismantle these within 7 days from the date of the notice.
2. Companies and venue owners must cooperate with the authorities and law enforcement officers to dismantle the gambling advertisements, ensuring that this task is completed within the specified time.
The provincial government also stated that if there is non-compliance or delays in executing the above notice, the Chai Zhen Provincial Government will take coercive measures to dismantle these gambling advertisements and will not be responsible for any losses incurred during this period, with all related costs to be borne by the companies or owners involved.
Furthermore, for companies or owners who do not comply with the timeline and cooperation, the provincial government will prohibit these companies from conducting any other commercial advertising activities within the province.
