Expanse Studios, a division of Golden Matrix Group, has begun registering a B2B gaming license in Ontario, Canada.

This move is part of the studio's broader effort to expand its presence in the regulated markets of North America, including one of the most active iGaming jurisdictions in the region.

It is reported that the Ontario market has growth potential, and Expanse Studios aims to leverage its catalog of over 50 iGaming games, which includes crash games, table games, and traditional slots.

Damjan Stamenkovic, CEO of Expanse Studios, stated: "Completing the registration process is an important milestone in bringing Expanse Studios to Ontario.

"This achievement highlights our commitment to operating in the largest, most regulated markets and providing world-class gaming content to players globally."

Worth noting: Expanse Studios is collaborating with Canadian law and regulatory firm Segev to meet the stringent compliance standards required for market entry.

This application aligns with the ongoing growth of Golden Matrix Group, whose financial results for the third quarter of 2024 demonstrated this, reporting an 85% year-over-year revenue increase driven by strategic acquisitions and operational expansion.

During the same period, the betting volume on Golden Matrix's GMAG platform grew by 84%, reflecting its growth capabilities in key markets.

Legal partner Alon Segev added: "Expanse Studios continues to stand out with its innovative gaming approaches and dedication to regulatory excellence. We are proud to support them in taking this significant step and look forward to seeing their positive impact on the Ontario market."
